Web hosting

Web hosting serves a static site or a web application from a Git repository or a container image, with a domain and TLS attached.

A hosted site is an ordinary workload with a Route in front of it. A Route names a hostname and the Service that answers for it; the cluster's ingress controller matches incoming requests against that hostname, terminates TLS with a certificate it issues, and forwards the request to a pod behind the Service. Nothing about the workload itself differs from any other Deployment on the platform.
